| my husband and i had a foreclosure 6 years ago , they say that after 2 years you can still buy a house,but fannie mae says it has to come of our credit all together. there is a judgement in the court house that was due to come off after three years,this was written in the judgement, but its still there. help is there any thing i can do to remove this from my credit |

| | All negative items are supposed to come off of your credit after seven years. You may be able to get the judgment removed with a letter to the appropriate credit bureaus. If you have reestablished credit you should be able to get a mortgage after the foreclosure. Try a different lender or mortgage program. |
