Ameriquest Mortgage $ 254,000 left on mortgage

We are approaching 30 days past due on our Mortgage, and was told by Ameriquest that they can not do any forbearance until we are 60-90 days past due. They will not accept 1 months payment if you are over 30 days, you must make two payments which we will not be able to do.
Location of property is Nassau County N.Y. We owe $254,000 on the mortgage, and the house is worth anywhere betweeen $ 425,000-$449,000. Approximately 15M in credit card debt that is delinquent. Our credit scores are probably in the 550 or better range.

We are concerned that without the bank working with us, they will simply let it go to forclosure. We would like to refinance with another institution if possible, and pay off debt, and even take some money out . Given Ameriquest history I believe they will be tough to deal with.
