| help!! i've just been turned down for a much needed home equity loan because my experian credit report shows a foreclosure in 2003. however, my now ex-wife and i filed a chapt 7 bankruptcy during our divorce in 2000. i chapter 7ed the house (didn't reaffirm on the loan) as she did. i gave her the house, but she failed to make payments and it was foreclosed in 2003. it reads in my credit report as a foreclosure in 2003 too, but shouldn't it say "included in bankruptcy"? my credit has been perfect since my bankruptcy in 2000 and my credit score is now nearly 700, but this "foreclosure" showing on my report as having occured in 2003 has really hurt me. i have had to repair many incorrect items in my report over the last 4yrs (the chapt 7 was discharged in oct. 2000), but i have had terrible luck in getting experian to correct anything (this is another topic). i cannot get a live person on the line when i call them. i bought the report and submitted my corrections, but only experian has failed to rectify all mistakes. my records show that i have tried to correct errors with experian 4x over the past 4yrs. but in this case, can anyone tell me, should the report read "included in bk" rather than "foreclosure"? as i said, my credit has been perfect since 2000, but this makes it appear anything but. please help!!

| Conradw10,
Sounds like you have some stress in your life. This is really an issue you will have to take up with Experian.
So did Equifax and Trans Union remove the foreclosure?
