| My good faith and cleaned up credit made it possible for me to "buy" a new home. But, because of several crooks, i.e., (real estate agent investigated for alleged embezzlement, fired, no agent present at close, issues of NON-DISCLOSURE from seller, home not livable, had to move, sued bank for misrepresentation, I think you got it, however there's more...) I was a first time homebuyer. After I sued bank they put me in "foreclosure started" status and there I have been for over 1 year. I had to move into another home, that mortgage is current and never late. Great income, just stuck. Having that foreclosure on my credit report is closing doors for me everywhere and it has significantly lowered my score. Please help me if you can. I am desperate for any answers, anything while I wait for lawsuit to be settled. Which state or you located in?
You should be able to get that bank to remove the foreclosure off of your credit report. If they don’t act immediately you have the right to sue them to protect your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Get more info about the Fair credit reporting act.http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fcrajump.htm
