| I am in IL in the western suburbs of chicago. Prices are high; my funds are not. My fiance and I have a combined income of around $90K annually (gross). We want to buy a house but are lacking knowledge of mortgage options. Average homes in a decent neighborhood around here go for 240,000 to 350,000.
I have looked into some info on 80/20 loans, interest only, 30 yr fixed, and a coulple arm options. I am just as lost on what to do as when I started. We have basically no money down, owe 10,000 on my vehicle, and around 6,000 in credit card debt.
what are my best options on getting a decent home for around 1500/mo? I am renting for 800/mo currently. plan on being in home 3-7 years depending on career moves. |
