I have a question for the Mortgage Pro, the site administrator for this board. I have noticed that you do not allow advertising of any kind on this board, but in your last post you state other services that you can offer to the client. I would think this is breaking your own rules. Believe me when I say that I have no intention in spamming this board with ads. You have a great forum here helping people with all kinds of financial problems. I just feel the board should be open to everybody that can offer the services that are needed to help these people get on track. What I am getting at is the 'private message' has been disabled to where I or anybody else cannot communicate our services to them privately. However, in your same post you also state to the person that you will be contacting them by e-mail, but as the site administrator you probably can do that.

My main question is why isn't the 'private messaging' enabled? For now it looks like you have your own lead source of people that need help to stop their foreclosure.

It should be an even playing field.

Am I the only one experiencing problems with 'private messaging' ? I do accept private messages as well from this board, but that feature has been stopped and I cannot post my e-mail either because of rules.

Honzie,

We choose to disable private messaging because we had every loan officer on the internet soliciting business here.

If you’re looking to get business from a website you really should create your own.

Mortgage pro,

You answered my post just like I thought you would. If a person wants to make their e-mail address available to people on this board that should be their right and their right alone. Yes, everybody knows that by doing that you are setting yourself up for spam, but that is their choice. It is nice to see that you have taken it upon yourself to decide to save them the headache of receiving e-mails from other solicitors but still leaving your e-mail available to communicate with them. A message board in a sense is a public forum for people to seek info or just to vent their problems and then professionals with great advise would reply back with suggestions to their problems. As far as soliciting to the board, that is what the site administrator is suppose to monitor------spamming the boards with unwanted ads. Not controlling people's private e-mail rights on this board.Cool

So why don't we cut through the chase and say what this board is really for? I am sure you have a great website and still wanted more lead traffic and realized that alot of people with all kinds of financial problems go to message boards looking for great free advise to their problems. With that in mind you created a message board just to find leads to promote your own services. I think financial problems are like medical problems, the customer should get a second and sometimes a third opinion. Do these people on this board have that option?

Good day! HonzieCool
