Husband has score in low 600's I have score in high 700's

Will we be able to qualify for a mortgage? He is active duty Army and recently paid off the last of his charges. I have a solid score and payment history on my student loan, 4 vehicles, and many credit cards (most of which are now closed.) We are in Hawaii and the housing here is so expensive (median single family home is $650k) and would need to borrow around $450k for something decent. Also, what type of interest rate will we be looking at? Thanks!
