| Jim Cramer’s Mad Money Recap 9/12/2005
Jim Cramer suggested a play on ITT Industries, Inc. (NYSE:ITT).
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, ITT pumps are playing a part in the massive de-watering effort under way in New Orleans, and the company is making additional pumps available to help provide drinking water to victims throughout the hurricane-ravaged region.
ITT is poised to capture some more business after municipalities across the US start to acknowledge there water infrastructure is dated and in need of upgrading.
ITT provide products and services in many markets, including equipment for water and wastewater treatment and industrial processes, defense electronics and services, electronic components such as connectors and switches and a wide range of other industrial products.
ITT is the best of breed water infrastructure play and Cramer thinks it will go higher.
ITT was trading at $112.62 as of the market close of 9/12/2005
Cramer also liked Powerwave Technologies Inc (NASDAQ NM: PWAV).
Powerwave Technologies is a global supplier of end-to-end wireless solutions for wireless communications networks. Powerwave designs, manufactures and markets antennas, boosters, combiners, filters, repeaters, multi-carrier RF power amplifiers and tower-mounted amplifiers and advanced coverage solutions, all for use in cellular, PCS and 3G networks throughout the world.
We are in a cell phone capacity crunch, so this one should go higher.
