Jim Cramer suggested a speculative long term play on Capstone Turbine Corp (NASDAQ NM:CPST).
Capstone Turbine is the leading provider of microturbine cogeneration systems for clean, continuous energy management, energy conservation and biogas-fueled renewable energy.
This is gibberish for they offer an economical alternative or back-up source for generating electricity.
They have just picked up contracts with Keyspan and Coned. Those or two of the biggest energy companies in the northeast.
CPST was trading at $4.60 as of the market close of 8/29/2005
Cramer also liked Penn National Gaming Inc (NASDAQ NM:PENN)here.
I think this is good play. Cramer’s logic is this company is positioned to capitalize on markets with no gamming competitions. They are positioned in lucrative markets such as Mississippi, Colorado, Missouri, and Illinois, where they can dominate and keep overhead to a minimum.
PENN was trading at $34.91 as of the market close of 8/29/2005 |
