I did an initial search on-line and it looks like land loans vary on covering a percent of the appraised value. One would cover 45% as another claimed 100% with a credit check. The one I found for that 100% would only do loans in Virginia.

Say the selling price is way above any appraised value (because the land means that much TO ME to need to buy it), are there other loans or options to cover what land loan co.s won't ?

Thanks,
Karl
