We have a home in Dry Fork, Virginia
The mortage balance is approximatly $80,000.00 that's $65,000.00 on the first mortage and $15,000.00 on the second mortage.
The property is valued at $120,000.00
The first mortage is 4 months past due. The lender has had an attorney contact us about forclosure proceedings but there has been no hearing or sale date set as of yet.

We got behind on the payments because my husband lost his job making $60,000.00 a year and I had no employment. We have moved out of the house and to Pennsylvania, where he has a job making between $60,000.00 and $75,000.00 a year and I have a job making $27,040.00 a year. We would really like to either refinance the house or sell it, because our credit suffered very badly while we were unemployed and we just need a fresh start. We would pay the past due amount but the lawyer has tacked on over $2000.00 worth of fees and we just can't come up with that much at one time. The 4 months worth of mortage payments and the lawyer's fees total almost $5000.00.

Please help
and
Thank You
